- Pilot request form: name, contact number, website, industry, agent type, use case description
- Billing information: wallet top-up details processed securely through our payment gateway (we do not store card numbers)
- Support communications: messages, emails, or calls you send to our team
Information generated through platform use
- Call recordings: audio recordings of conversations between your AI agents and callers, retained per your plan (30 / 90 / 180 days)
- Call transcripts: text transcriptions of call audio generated in real-time
- Usage analytics: call volume, duration, agent activity, token consumption, wallet balance activity
- Knowledge base content: documents, FAQs, and policies you upload to train your agents
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL
- Pages visited and time spent on our website
- Device identifiers for dashboard sessions
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provision and operate your Ginger Voice AI account and agents
- Process wallet top-ups and track token consumption
- Send transactional emails — account alerts, low wallet notifications, billing confirmations
- Respond to pilot requests and onboard new customers
- Improve the accuracy and performance of the AI platform
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Send product updates and announcements (you may unsubscribe at any time)
We do not use your call recordings or transcripts to train general AI models. Your data is used only to serve your account.
4. Call recordings and transcripts
Ginger Voice AI records and transcribes calls handled by your AI agents as a core platform feature. This is necessary to provide call playback, transcript search, sentiment analysis, and analytics.
Your responsibilities as a customer
You are responsible for ensuring that callers interacting with your AI agents are informed that calls may be recorded. This is typically done through:
- A recorded announcement at the start of each call (configurable in your agent settings)
- Disclosure in your own privacy policy or terms of service
- Compliance with applicable telecom and consent laws in your jurisdiction, including the Indian Information Technology Act and any applicable TRAI regulations
Retention periods
Call recordings and transcripts are automatically deleted after the retention period for your plan:
- Starter: 30 days
- Growth: 90 days
- Enterprise: 180 days
You may manually delete recordings at any time through the admin dashboard.
5. Data sharing and third parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your customers’ call data to any third party.
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- AI infrastructure providers: to process audio and generate responses in real-time. These providers process data only as instructed by us and are bound by data processing agreements.
- Cloud infrastructure: our platform runs on Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure. Data is stored in India or the nearest available region.
- Payment processors: billing transactions are handled by our payment gateway partner. We do not receive or store full card details.
- Email service: transactional emails are sent via Microsoft 365 / EmailJS. Only the minimum required data is shared.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.
6. Data retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
Call recordings and transcripts are retained per the schedule in Section 4. Knowledge base content is retained until you delete it or close your account.
Anonymised usage statistics may be retained indefinitely for platform improvement purposes.
7. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection: object to processing of your data for marketing purposes
- Withdrawal of consent: where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time

8. Security

Our website uses minimal cookies strictly necessary for operation:

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect dashboard functionality.
10. Children’s privacy
Ginger Voice AI is a B2B platform intended for use by businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page
- Send an email notification to registered customers
- Display a notice in the admin dashboard for 30 days
Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
